INS (Inertial Navigation System)
■ IMU(Inertial Measurement unit)
IMU is an electronic device that measures and reports a aircraft’s velocity, direction and gravitational forces. And as a typical core component of INS,
it is used for allowing an aircraft, spacecraft, ships, submarines and precise GPS-guided missiles to maneuver.

■ INS(Inertial Navigation System)
INS is a navigation aid equipment to be composed of a gyroscope, accelerometer and computer. And it can continuously determine a position, velocity, and direction of a mobile object by measuring and continuously integrating for time an angular velocity and acceleration velocity of a mobile object without any helps from an external reference, via a dead reckoning. A gyroscope and accelerometer basically support 3-axes, namely Pitch, Roll, Yaw so as to get 3-D spatial information.
